As you could have probably guessed, my name is Michael - A writer, content creator, avid travel enthusiast and sole creator of StayWildCopy.com.

Stay Wild Copy was created foremost as a way to introduce myself to any and all creators or entrepreneurs looking to expand their personal or professional brands through the use of engaging, well written copy. I strive to always be there for my clients and readers by providing value in any way possible.

My blog posts also aim to provide you with entertaining and knowledgeable content regarding the benefits of travel and the nomadic lifestyle. (If you’d like, you can even think of it as a portfolio that I write for fun!) I'll be exploring everything from personal travel stories, budget breakdowns, and product reviews. As well as tips and tricks regarding budget backpacking and the journey to becoming a digital nomad.

  • I chose “Stay Wild” because it has a double meaning to me. “Wild” obviously has it’s normal meaning - To live in a state of nature - but it also happens to be my mothers surname. So, it serves as a reminder for me to not only stay wild, but also to remember where I came from.

  • This is a difficult question, so I’m going to give a few answers.

  • Currently, I am building my personal brand through the copywriting and digital marketing space.

    I am also an avid cryptocurrency investor and am able to use both income sources, and personal savings, to maintain my nomadic lifestyle.

  • This has changed over the years and has varied from trip to trip.

    Some of my trips I obtained working holiday visas which allowed me to work various jobs while in-country, others were supported strictly off of my savings, and more recently I have worked online to support myself abroad.

  • I have had two working visas in the past. One for Australia, and one for New Zealand, respectively, and I will begin a Spanish working visa in January 2024.

  • I am from a small town in the prairies of Canada which you have most likely never heard of.

  • At time of writing, I have explored a total of 22 countries but will be adding to that number in the coming months.
